Brazil’s Petrobras Restarts Platform After Small Oil Leak
From Fox Business
Brazilian state-run energy giant Petroleo Brasileiro (PBR, PETR4.BR), or Petrobras, was restarting production Monday at an offshore platform that suffered a small oil leak over the weekend, a union representing oil workers said.
“Output at the platform is restarting well by well,” a spokeswoman from the Sindipetro-NF union said. The union represents oil workers in the Campos Basin, an offshore area responsible for more than 85% of Brazil’s crude oil output. About 30 liters of oil leaked from the Pampo platform Saturday, according to the spokeswoman.
