Vietnam TGT Partners to Drill Offshore on Southern Fault Block

SOCO International says the Te Giac Trang (TGT) field offshore southern Vietnam continues to perform as expected, currently delivering 52-55,000 b/d of oil.
Production comes from two 16-slot platforms with 16 producer wells. The second platform entered service in July 2012.
The partners plan further drilling and appraisal as part of the ongoing development, with three to four infill wells planned this year, along with the H5 step-out appraisal well. The program is expected to start this spring.
TGT extends over 13 km (8 mi) and at least five fault blocks. Its producing reservoir comprises a complex series of more than 50 clastic Miocene and Oligocene reservoir intervals.
