Energy Agency Sees Gasoline Prices Falling Through 2014

Gasoline prices at the pump in the United States are expected to fall in 2013 to an average of $3.44 per gallon, from $3.63 per gallon in 2012, as crude prices decline, the U.S. Energy Information Administration said in a monthly short-term energy outlook on Tuesday.

Retail gasoline prices are expected to decline further in 2014 to an estimated $3.34 per gallon, the EIA said. The prices are expected to fall because of a decline in world oil prices over the period.
