Colombia Oct. Daily Oil Output 960,953 Barrels, Highest This Year

Output last month averaged 960,953 barrels a day, 0.5% more than September’s rate of 956,312 barrels a day, and 0.9% above October 2011′s average daily output of 952,000 barrels. The data were published Tuesday on the website Twitter by Colombia’s deputy energy minister, Tomas Gonzalez.
October’s figure is the second-highest monthly average on record, only surpassed by November 2011′s average production of 962,000 barrels a day.
