At present, the percentage is much lower than that.
In this very densely populated country of 60 million people, therefore, those who have to make big decisions about investment in the energy industry are faced with major dilemmas. Coal, gas and oil-fired power stations are very efficient, for each produces large quantities of electricity, though they discharge polluting carbon dioxide and sulphur dioxide gases all the time.
