Two Nuclear Plants To Shut In Belgium

According to Belgian media, two reactors, Doel 1 and Doel 2, will be shut down in April 2016. A third plant, Tihange, will be overhauled as of 2015 and kept running until 2025 in order to secure the country”s electricity supplies.
The closures of Doel 1 and 2 will result the loss of around 1,500 jobs.
