Why should we expect innovative solutions to our energy challenges to come out of the so-called rational middle?
This was the final question the audience posed during a panel discussion at the 2012 Aspen Ideas Festival Wednesday–regarding the Rational Middle Energy Series, a group of short films directed by Gregory Kallenberg that debuted at the festival. At their core, the films are an invitation to a civil, reasonable discussion about the future of energy on our planet amid man-made climate change, energy security needs, and the myriad costs associated with any source we decide use for our energy demands.
