China-Made Solar Module Prices Drop In US Market

The price of China-made solar modules in the US has dropped about 10% since the US announcement of the preliminary result of the anti-dumping investigation.

According to industry sources, the price of China-made solar modules has dropped from US$0.9/watt to about US$0.8/watt since the announcement made in mid May. This means it is unlikely for Taiwan-based solar cell makers to increase quotes for China-based customers successfully, said industry sources.
